Gemotions

The dorm room was filled with soft music. Jack was sitting cross-legged on the floor, surrounded by his instruments. He'd just finished composing a new song, and the notes still echoed in his mind. A feeling of creative satisfaction flowed through him. He tapped his foot to the rhythm.

His roommate, Tom, was out for a late dinner. The empty space was filled with a sense of freedom, the ability to let his mind wander without interruption. He picked up his guitar, the wood warm beneath his fingers, and began to play, fully immersed in his craft.
